When an item is not yet available or backordered, you may reserve it. No deposit is required. When paying by credit card: Reserved or backordered items are charged to your card the day they ship to you.

Description:
Doug James has opted to tell a story from history with his design. The tale is that of "Pocahontas", one of the original Americans, and about the visit she made to the court of James I, in 1616. 21" Pocahontas, dressed in English court attire, wears a lavishly trimmed silk charmeuese purple dress with a brocade over robe. Underneath, she wears a hoop petticoat. Her jet-black hair is styled quite like it was worn at that time and is adorned with a lace diadem. Black silk shoes and sparkling jewelry are lovely finishing touches. As a gift for the king, she offers a decorative ceremonial peace pipe on a cushion. An interesting aside to history, the Indian Princess, Pocahontas, was buried in England until the 1990's. Limited Edition of 200.

Layaway Plan Details
Our layaway plan allows you to pay for your purchase in four equal payments: 25% when you place your order and 25% each month for the next three months.
Layaway items are shipped when paid in full.
Please note:
1. Each layaway order must be a minimum of $100.00 in total payments ($25.00 or more each payment).
2. Credit card payments are automatically deducted the same day each month.
3. Layaway payments are not refundable and non-transferable to other orders.
4. The Matilda Company reserves the right to cancel any layaway order when no payment is received, or credit card payment is not approved, for any 60 day period.
